I am a multi-disciplinary artist and have been painting for 26 years. I earned my BA in dance, worked as a welder, I have a full time job in a vintage car restoration shop, and I have always been passionate about my painting studio practice. My art is created with acrylic paint and mixed media. I often incorporate collage into my works. My paintings are always densely layered, have rich surface textures and I apply a lot of experimentation and improvisation in my paintings. Much of my projects draw inspiration from my personal vivid dreamscapes, history, music and bold, exciting colors.
